Each exit ticket invites students to analyze spelling in context:

• There are 3 tickets per page.
• Students will select the correct spelling for each suffix rule
• As time allows, ask students to explain why they made a spelling change or not.

The tickets are flexible and easy to use:

• Print and staple all 3 tickets together as a booklet for the week, or
• Cut them apart and hand out one exit ticket at the end of each lesson when you’re reviewing each spelling rule.

To help you monitor growth, a progress tracking chart is included. There is space for 6 student names (perfect for small groups), and you can simply print additional copies as needed for larger groups or multiple intervention groups.
