Each exit ticket gives students practice applying the doubling rule in context:

There are 3 tickets per page with the same sentence, ideal for use with multiple students.
Simply cut them apart and hand one to each student at the end of your lesson when you’re reviewing the doubling rule.
As time allows, ask students to explain why they doubled the consonant or not to deepen their understanding of this important spelling generalization.
