Kara is passionate about helping students succeed in their educational endeavors. Not only has Kara had over 9 years of experience working with children who are dyslexic, but she also tutored with 3 of her own children. She understands a parent’s perspective and loves educating, empowering and encouraging the families she works with.
Kara enjoys working 1 on 1 with her students, coaching parents in tutoring, and being part of the “team”. As a physical therapist, she understands the neuroscience behind dyslexia and has the clinical skills needed to best provide effective reading intervention. She especially enjoys the challenge of helping those students with added superhero powers like ADD/ADHD.
