I am a certified teacher with 11 years of both classroom and one-on-one tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping struggling readers gain confidence in themselves and succeed. I love to see little faces light up when they discover that they CAN read! During tutoring, I use a variety of multi-sensory methods and games, and I always strive to make learning personal and individualized to each child. I want my students to feel a connection to the work they are doing so they can see the application to their everyday life.
My family consists of my husband, four-year-old daughter, and a miniature dachshund. We live in Texas and love to travel and be outside. In my not-so-spare time I love to read and learn new things!
