Kathryn Kopack

I am a certified New Jersey and Orton Gillingham teacher who has been involved in education for more than 15 years.  My specialty is teaching students with reading challenges, Dyslexia, and Specific Learning Disability. I am passionate about helping students gain self-confidence and succeed academically. I love to see their faces light up as they make progress and achieve their goals!

I employ a variety of multi-sensory activities and games to make learning fun. I focus on the individual interests and learning styles of each child for a very personalized learning experience.

On a personal note, two of my five children struggled academically. This was what gave me the drive to learn all I could to help my children and my students learn to read in a structured and systemic way. As a private tutor, I can provide each student with a tailored learning experience and spend the necessary time to ensure that they truly comprehend each concept and are able to put those concepts into practice.
