Jennifer Pelcyger

Jen Pelcyger is an Associate Member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham. She has been working with children with dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD for 11 years. Jen enjoys building a relationship with each child and watching their self-esteem grow as they gain confidence in their ability to read, spell and write. Jen has a background in education and taught first grade for 7 years prior to working with individuals with dyslexia. Her calm demeanor and patience paired with classroom management experience make her tutoring sessions productive and fun. Her goal is for her students to experience success. Jen moved from teaching to tutoring in 2009 and enjoys working with these bright students one-on-one. She lives in Denver with her husband and 9 year old son and enjoys singing in a choir, hiking and camping.

Jen and her team are offering both in person and remote tutoring. We use Aww App, an interactive white board. This allows our tutoring sessions to remain multisensory and fun!
