Hi there!  I'm a longtime homeschooling mom who is also an O-G tutor.  Back when I started homeschooling my own children, most of whom are grown, there simply weren't the resources that are available today. I learned Orton-Gillingham via the Spalding Method so that I could teach my own dyslexic kids how to read, spell, and write. Nowadays, I specialize in helping older kids who have fallen through the cracks by shoring up whatever English skills they lack.  I am also considered by many to be the go-to gal for writing instruction--for all students, not just ones with dyslexia.  In that capacity, I handle everything from beginning sentence structure to all kinds of essays, including literary analysis and research papers.  Additionally, since nearly all of my tutoring happens via Skype, you don't have to live nearby to benefit from my expertise. I hope to hear from you!
