I am a licensed teacher in two states, and hold degrees and certificates in Elementary and Montessori Education. Additionally, I have a doctorate in Literacy. I was an early elementary classroom educator for ten years. I also spent seven years teaching Reading and Writing methods courses at two universities. In addition to my years of classroom experience, I am also Orton-Gillingham trained.
