Students will practice their decoding and fluency skills with these fully decodable passages that target specific phonics skills using a systematic progression.

12 passages for reading and spelling generalizations are included.

As you use a systematic and explicit phonics approach, these are the perfect tool, especially for your reading intervention students who truly benefit from more exposures and practice.

Using a color code, students will read and answer the comprehension checks at the end of each passage. They may use a red, blue or yellow crayon or highlighter to find their answers and then write them in the spaces provided.

Your students will love being reading detectives while finding the color clues that answer the questions!
