Is your class studying the life cycle of a silkworm? Have them research the safe and exciting way-with a QR code web quest! You will need access to a mobile tablet and a QR reader app on your device. You can easily use this activity whether you have one mobile tablet, or several in your classroom.

-Silkworms Fact File sheet
-6 task cards with questions that take you through each stage in the life cycle, and a QR code to scan to find the answer and the link to each website.
- A recording sheet for the answers
-Mini-poster for how to scan a QR code.
-Picture cards to create a life cycle poster and student directions
-"Diary of A Silkworm" template for students to create a diary in the voice of a silkworm and student directions.
I highly recommend testing the web quest out before attempting it with your class! It will run much more smoothly if you have run through it yourself first.
