December Writing
December writing is sure to spark interest in December writing. They'll have even your most reluctant writers eager to open their journals!
December writing is a monthly set of animal-themed writing prompts, all ready to go for the month of December. I have selected 4 different stunning animal photographs suitable for this month, and created a December writing prompt to accompany it.
Here are some teaching tips for December writing.
-Print out the prompt and display it.
-Use the prompt for a classroom discussion during morning meeting.
-Assign the weekly prompt as morning work, quick write, journal assignment, informal written assessment, or homework.
-I’ve included a blank outline template if you decide to use it for practicing the writing process.
-I’ve included several options for lined paper. Feel free to print out the paper that suits the needs for your students.
