Each exit ticket gives students practice applying the rule in context:
- There are 3 tickets per page with the same sentence, ideal for use with multiple students.
- Simply cut them apart and hand one to each student at the end of your lesson when you’re reviewing each rule.
- As time allows, ask students to explain why they chose the spelling rule to deepen their understanding of this important spelling generalization.
To help you easily track growth, a progress chart is included. There is space for 6 student names (perfect for small groups). Print additional copies as needed for larger groups or multiple intervention groups.
